Door Host

The Williamsburg Hotel is looking for outgoing and reliable Rooftop Door Host to welcome our guests to our wonderful Rooftop experience. The Williamsburg Hotel is an independent lifestyle boutique hotel located in the middle of the action. In North Williamsburg we are a staple of local the hotspots in a neighborhood rich in entertainment and culture.

Job Description

• Greeting guests/patrons as they enter and leave the premises
• Maintaining and managing the line
• Selling tables to clients
• Reviews all guest’s identification prior to entry and denies access to underage, intoxicated, and obnoxious guests
• Identify and report underage guests to the management and staff
• Partner with rooftop staff to identify and report intoxicated guests
• Perform Promote guest loyalty. Cultivate relationship with regulars and hotel guest
• Act only to promote the success of the rooftop, its employees, and its guests
• Perform other job-related activities as required or assigned by a supervisor/manager

Job Requirements:

• Must have 6 years of Nightlife experience
• Must be able to work from Thursday – Sunday from 8PM to 2AM, including weekends and holidays.
• Capable of standing for prolonged periods of time.
• Great communication skills, professional demeanor and appearance.
• Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction.
• Ability to read English language sufficient to ascertain information.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb up and down stairs, walk, carry multiple objects, and have manual dexterity in one hand to be able to load and unload boxes.
